Window Refurbishment

Refurbishment of 36 windows in 2-storey office extension
A major refurbishment of one of MW Kellogg's buildings originally called for new windows throughout in line with structural alterations to the building

GR3 has a long association with the site and we identified that the required improvements in performance - the existing windows were single-glazed - could be achieved by removing and altering the existing windows. Moreover, this could be achieved within budget and programme and in accordance with MW Kellogg's ISO14001 accreditation

Windows were deglazed, removed to our factory and all frames reduced in height by 200mm and the corner units extended by 375mm

The welded frames were then shot-blasted, galvanized and powder-coated to the architect's RAL specification

Aluminium cills and soffits were similarly resized and then reinstated and new double-glazed window units fitted
